The Benerd School of Education offers a wide range of degrees designed to help you meet the challenges in today's schools and colleges. You'll graduate from our program with an improved ability to plan, organize, manage and evaluate school programs at the elementary, secondary, community college and university levels.

Our faculty possess a rich array of professional experience as teachers, school psychologists and administrators; all are actively engaged in professional development, partnerships, and research at our partner colleges, elementary and secondary schools. Our professors' up-to-date experience grounds our curriculum, ensuring you graduate prepared to support teachers, students and families in ways that truly address the needs in our schools and communities today.

Sacramento Doctor of Education (EdD)
in Educational and Organizational Leadership
Starting in fall 2015, we will offer an online/face-to-face EdD program focused on learning, leadership, and change.

Teacher Intern Program
Interested in teaching for your local school district for the 2015-2016 school year? Our Teacher Intern Program allows students to earn their teaching credential and a master's degree in 12 months while teaching as an intern.
