Teaching (credential option, including special eduaction)
As a Special Education teacher, you help students move beyond the "disabled" label and grow to meet their true potential. Special Education requires creativity, patience, tolerance and flexibility. You will, after all, work with students who possess a wide range of needs and abilities. The rewards, however, are unrivaled: every day you spend working with a young person will be a day spent improving their lives.
The Special Education Teaching credential option is an advanced degree program for:
*Individuals who already have a Level One Education Specialist Credential and wish to enroll in an advanced degree program and complete the Level Two requirements.
*Individuals who already posses a Multiple Subject or Single Subject teaching credential or Speech and Language, Clinical Rehabilitation Services credential and wish to add an Education Specialist credential, Level One and Two, and engage in a Master of Arts program.

Earn a Degree and Credential in One Year
The new twelve month master's program offers an excellent opportunity to earn a single subject credential and a degree. With the support of a cohort and placements in diverse schools with outstanding mentor teachers, you'll be ready to inspire and engage adolescent learners.
Multiple Subject Credential Program for Post-Bachelor's Degree Students
The two-year Multiple Subject Program and degree will prepare you for teaching in elementary schools K-8. This option provides even greater flexibility, and graduates find that a masters degree provides them with many professional advantages. Information and Requirements
