The University of the Pacific's Center for Professional & Continuing Education offers a number of courses designed to meet the needs of educators for career and salary advancement.

The Delta Pacific Early Childhood Development Project
A partnership between San Joaquin Delta College and University of the Pacific Benerd School of Education.

Pacific/Aspire Urban Teacher Residency Program- A year long residency program that includes a credential/master's degree.

The Teach-Now/University of the Pacific Program is an intense, accelerated 9-month program* consisting of six months of online coursework and three months of field-based practice teaching in a classroom. If you are already a teacher, you can complete this program while teaching. ( *Candidates must also fulfill all assessment requirements of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing -CBEST, CSET, RICA as well as in-program assessments.)

Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)

CTC serves as a state standards board for educator preparation for the public schools of California, the licensing and credentialing of professional educators in the State, the enforcement of professional practices of educators, and the discipline of credential holders in the State of California.


National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)

NCATE accreditation provides recognition that the school of education has met national professional standards for the preparation of teachers and other educators.
