Dr. Liu’s research experience and teaching interest have been in the area of mechanical system and manufacturing engineering, with specific focuses on flexible manufacturing system automation, machine tool design, intelligent CAM technology, mechatronics, sensing and control technology for CNC machine tool, and metrology for production quality inspection and control.
