Dr. Christopher Deal has been an intercultural trainer and teacher for the past 17 years; his roles have included lecturer, author, consultant, trainer, teacher trainer, videographer, researcher, and manager. He founded and manages the consulting firm Deal Global Communication and serves on the Board of Directors for SIETAR-USA (Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research). He has taught intercultural communication at California State University, Fullerton, and the University of New Mexico. He lived and worked overseas for five years in Asia and Europe. He has extensive experience designing and conducting intercultural training programs in both business and academia. Christopher's specialties include communicating with the Chinese, training design across cultures, and producing videos. His work with expatriates transitioning home from China was highlighted in a special feature in China's largest English language newspaper, China Daily.
