Mission
In cooperation with units on all three campuses, its mission is to offer:
- curricular consultations on matters of intercultural competency and intercultural communication
- design, delivery and coordination of intercultural training to students, faculty and staff
- support in strengthening the intercultural dimension and existing diversity initiatives as an integral part of a Pacific education
- training in the use and interpretation of such instruments as the Intercultural Development Inventory, Conflict Styles Inventory, Learning Styles Inventory and other assessment and evaluation tools
- needs assessments to determine cross-cultural training opportunities and provide appropriate discipline/unit-based training designs
