Khatijah Corey

Khatijah Corey has focused her professional career on public service and representing the U.S. overseas. Aligning with these career goals, she has worked with the Political-Military Bureau at the U.S. Department of State, in the Political Section of the U.S. Embassy in Panama, and with the Communications Department at the Trust for the National Mall. Ms. Corey is also a prestigious Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellow. She is also pursuing a M.A. in International Affairs from The Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University, focusing on Security and Development.  Ms. Corey attributes her success in part to her undergraduate career at SIS, where she challenged to excel in research and writing. She also studied abroad in Argentina, helping her develop fluency in Spanish.
