University of the PACIFIC

Pacific's School of International Studies Model UN delegation traveled to Beijing, China to participate in the Asian International Model UN Conference at Peking University, March 13-16, 2008.  The only two U.S. universities represented at this global conference were the University of the Pacific and Yale University. Pacific's delegation included Sandra Alves, Jessica Caldwell, Allynne Pirret, and Jordan Steinfeld along with coach, Prof. Howard Moseley.  See a  personal account of the trip written by Ally Pirret and pictures of the conference and sightseeing excursions. Students raised funds for the trip and SIS contributed substantially to ensure these students could partipcate in this important global forum.
