SIS Cosponsors International Conference on Rwanda
Rwanda Rising
SIS is co-sponsoring an international conference on progress in Rwanda with Sacramento State University on November 2 and 3rd.
Both the Rwandan Ambassador to the United States as well as the Ambassador to the United Nations will be in attendance and make presentations.
The conference is open to the public.

In July, 2004 thirteen students traveled with Dean Ensign on a study tour to Kenya and Rwanda. In Rwanda they presented Mrs. Kagame with a check for $8000 that they raised when the President and First Lady visited Pacific in the Spring. They met with President Kagame at the July 4th celebration at the President’s house commemorating the end of the genocide.
