SIS Student Attends 48th Annual Foreign Affairs Conference
Bonnie Lucero, a graduating senior in the School of International Studies was selected to represent Pacific at the 48th Annual Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference in Annapolis, Maryland, April 7-11. The focus of the conference was on Latin America and the Caribbean, a region full of opportunity and dynamic potential, economic and social change. Over one hundred colleges and universities were represented in addition to military delegates from the U.S. and other nations. Bonnie was selected as a delegate based upon her academic achievements, her study abroad experience in Cuba, her interest in Latin America, and her exposure to the U.S. government perspective and policies through the Washington Semester Program.
