U.S. News & World Report ranked Pacific as one of the nation's best value institutions.
The best value designation means Pacific was ranked as a quality institution, with costs considerably less than other national universities when student financial aid packages are taken into consideration.
Students are encouraged to look beyond the bottom line and compare the value of your education for the investment you will make.
Here are some points to consider as you search for the best education at the best value:
- Our accelerated programs allow students to complete their coursework and clinical rotation a year earlier then students at most other schools. Graduating earlier means starting your career earlier.
- Tuition is based on a year round program, not a nine month academic year. (Tuition is based on a nine month program but summer tuition is less and the final experience is 9 units which is part-time so it is less.)
- A student-centered learning environment with faculty who are deeply committed to teaching and clinical research and staff who are focused on making your educational experience at Pacific a rewarding and memorable experience.
When it comes to scholarships, the speech-language pathology program rewards its own top undergraduate students who plan to continue their speech-language pathology education, either at Pacific or elsewhere.
The first speech-language pathology scholarship, named for Florence Scott Van Gilder (also known as the Tolley Award), recognizes three seniors per year for academic and clinical excellence with $1,500 awards.
Students must have at least a 3.5 GPA and plan to continue their speech pathology education at Pacific or another graduate program.
The second speech pathology scholarship is the Virginia Puich Endowed Scholarship, named after a professor and Chair of the Department who was with the university for 27 years and endowed by students who raised $25,000.
The Puich Scholarship is our most prestigious and awards $1,500 a year to one senior who plans to continue their graduate studies at Pacific.
Other financial aid packages are available through the main university financial aid office.
