Audiologists and Staff
Robert Hanyak, AuD, is an Associate Professor of Audiology and Chair of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of the Pacific. His areas of clinical interest are in aural rehabilitation, amplification and pediatric diagnostic audiology. Dr. Hanyak is a Fellow of both the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology as well as the recipient of several university teaching awards.
Amy Wusstig, AuD, is the Director of the University of the Pacific Hearing & Balance Center. She provides comprehensive diagnostic and hearing device services to the local community. She has experience with hearing aids, cochlear implants, BAHA implants, neurophysiologic monitoring, aural rehabilitation, audiologic and vestibular testing. She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Wusstig also serves on the Board of Directors for the California Academy of Audiology.
Jong Kim, AuD, joined the Pacific faculty as an audiologist in January 2014. He has extensive clinical experience in his former position at the Yakima Valley Hearing and Speech Center. His clinical interests include audiological assessment, hearing aids, aural rehabilitation, vestibular assessment and treatment, and tinnitus assessment and treatment. He has published on the effects of hearing aid directional microphones on listening in noise. Dr. Kim is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Lily Lye is the Administrative Assistant at the Hearing & Balance Center. She not only answers phone calls and schedules appointments, but performs basic hearing device repairs and cares for all of our walk-in patients. Lily keeps the office running smoothly and is an excellent contact person for all of our patients.
