Biography
Adam M. Kaye received his doctor of pharmacy degree in 1995 from University of the Pacific. Dr. Kaye is heavily involved in the San Joaquin Pharmacists Association, having served four previous terms as president, and the California Pharmacists Association. He is also Editorial Advisor for Pharmacist Letter, Prescriber's Letter, and the Pharmacy Technician Letter. In addition, he has been the coauthor of the well-known Ident-A-Drug reference book since the late 1990s and has coauthored numerous chapters in pain and anesthesia textbooks. Dr. Kaye also continues to work at the University of the Pacific preparing students for pharmacy practice.

Dr. Kaye was born in New York and later lived in Los Angeles, California and Arizona before settling in Stockton. He is married with one daughter. He has an older brother who is a doctor in New Orleans. From his brother's profession, he found medicine, diseases, and illness prevention to be the most interesting, which led him to study pharmacy. His favorite thing about Stockton is in that it is a small town making it easier to meet people. He enjoys University of the Pacific for its size which allows for close teacher-student interaction and overall, the high level of professor accessibility that is provided. Dr. Kaye's hobbies include basketball and tennis.
