Biography
Dr. Walberg earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Biology from University of California, Los Angeles and his doctor of pharmacy and doctor of philosophy from the University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He holds a Certificate in Knowledge in Travel Health® (CTH®) from the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM). Dr. Walberg joined the Pacific faculty in 2009 and is also an ambulatory care pharmacist in addition to teaching at Pacific.

When asked what his teaching philosophy was he answered, "I emphasize fundamental principles and practical application of knowledge." His favorite thing about teaching at Pacific is being able to combine teaching, research and public service as a preceptor for the introductory pharmacy practice experience program. Dr. Walberg is the faculty advisor for the Academy of Student Pharmacists Operation Immunization Committee and the Gamma Nu Chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity.

Dr. Walberg loves spending time with his wife and one year old daughter. He enjoys hiking, camping, traveling and visiting California wine country.
