Myo-Kyoung Kim received her doctor of pharmacy from University of Minnesota in 1998. Afterwards, she completed her residency at the Fairview-University Medical Center (formerly University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics). In 2001, she completed a fellowship in infectious disease at Hartford Hospital and another fellowship in clinical pharmacology in 2003 at Seoul National University Medical Center. She has been teaching oncology at University of the Pacific since 2003. She is also a faculty advisor of the Korean Student Association.
Dr. Kim had a growing interest in the field of medicine, and with her mother's influence, eventually chose to study pharmacy. She enjoys Stockton for its multicultural atmosphere and close proximity to places such as San Francisco, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe. She also likes University of the Pacific for the supportive faculty members and personal atmosphere between the students and faculty staff. She hopes to continue building professional relationships with her students. Dr. Kim's hobbies include photography and music.
