Biography
Sandra Bellamy '97, '99, ‘03, is a Pediatric Certified Specialist and teaches courses in pediatric physical therapy, movement analysis, prosthetics and orthotics, and applied clinical problem solving. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from University of the Pacific. She is committed to helping the Stockton community gain access to Physical Therapy facilities. She also hopes to promote patient advocacy to physical therapy services, and promote health and illnesses awareness to children.
Dr. Bellamy was born in Stockton, however with a military family, often moved around. She had moved to Hawaii, which she still visits often and is still involved in the arts and culture (has danced hula for 11 years). She is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served for six years. She has two grown children and three grandchildren. Dr. Bellamy takes pleasure in Stockton's agriculture, weather, and cultural diversity. Having stayed at University of the Pacific for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees, she enjoys the School's feel of community among the staff and faculty. Her hobbies include horseback riding, camping, running, scrapbooking, and eating Asian-fusion food. She recently finished the 2010 Stockton Half-Marathon and is preparing to run another half-marathon. She hopes to run a triathlon in two years.
