The CIP review process examines the applicant's community awareness and involvement as well as potential for civic engagement. This process places substantial emphasis on these aspects of the applicant's background, which should be clearly reflected in the personal statement and letters of recommendation. Applicants who successfully complete Phase 1 of the application process will be notified and invited to Phase 3 which includes an on-campus interview at a day and time to be determined during the first two weeks of April 2013.
