Cross-Cultural Training Course
INTL 151 Cross-Cultural Training I (CCTI) is a two-unit course designed to prepare students for adjustment to life abroad.
Topics include:
- U.S. values and assumptions
- Cross-cultural communication
- Cross-cultural adjustment and problems
- Research on the host country
This course is required for all students participating on semester or year-long programs. This may mean paying course overload fees if students are unable to re-arrange their schedules to accomodate this 2-unit course.
Enrollment in CCTI is handled differently than enrollment in most other courses at Pacific. IPS authorization is required and is granted in the form of an endorsed golden ticket to approved students who have submitted complete CAR form(s). Please see the Application Checklist in order to make sure you have completed all of the necessary items in order to receive your golden ticket.
