After Booking Your Flight
When you have confirmed your travel plans to Pacific, please complete and submit the International Student Arrival Form . You may either send the form to
IPS or fax it to 209.946.2094. Sending us this information as soon as possible will help ensure that we are prepared for your arrival.
When you arrive on campus, check in at the Bechtel International Center. For more information about orientation, see International Student Orientation Schedule.
What You Will Need to Provide
Your campus housing includes a bed, desk, and dresser. Each student residence has a broadband Internet connection and a phone outlet. Wireless Internet access is available across most of the campus, but is not accessible in all areas. If you need to buy items such as a laptop, cell phone, etc., an afternoon shopping trip is planned on Arrival & Check-In Day.
Transportation While at Pacific
Stockton, like many California cities, is mostly suburban in character and spread over a wide area. Most students find that a car makes it much easier to get around. City buses serve the campus area regularly. You must decide if the responsibility of a vehicle is worth the convenience. All vehicles must be registered and display a valid University parking permit. New to Pacific is the convenience of the "Zip Car."
Pre-Departure Resources
Please review the International Student Pre-Departure Handbook we created to help you prepare for your travels. This is a short guide to help you keep track of the things you will need to do before you join us on campus.
Also, we have produced a Pre-Arrival Orientation Video to give you tips on travel preparation, as well as what to expect when you arrive on the Pacific campus.
