Pacific Academic Workshop Series

The Pacific Academic Workshop Series (PAWS) offers great academic coaching workshops open to ALL Pacific Students. Workshops are offered throughout the fall & spring semesters, and cover a variety of popular academic topics ranging from time-management, note-taking strategies, and understanding stress and test anxiety. PAWS also offers an end of the year Gear up for Finals workshop which assists students in creating a study schedule and provides tips to help them perform their best on final exams (Week 14 of fall & spring semester). Be sure to be on the look-out for our flyer in your residence hall, on campus kiosks, or at the De Rosa University Center! 


The Fall 2017 Pacific Academic Workshop Series will take place at the De Rosa University Center room 211 A & B
at the following dates and times: 

Tuesday, September 5th from 6:00pm-7:00pm: Time Management & Semester Organization
Get your semester off to a good start and learn how to effectively use your time. This workshop will cover strategies for time management, using a paper or electronic calendaring system, and tips for staying organized throughout the semester. 

Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 from 6:00pm-7:00pm: Managing Procrastination & Staying Motivated
With the end of the semester in sight, it's a tough time of the year to stay motivated. This workshop will cover tips for managing procrastination and staying motivated through the end of the semester. 

Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 from 6:00pm-7:00pm: Gear up for Finals! 
End your semester on a high note and ace those final exams! This workshop will cover how to successfully plan and study for finals, how much studying is too much, and test-taking tips for different exam types. Food and prizes available for all attendees!
