    PAAR Pledge

Image of a scroll for the PAAR pledgeEvery year, each Pacific Alumni Admissions Representative pledges to giving approximately 15 hours of their time to assist the Office of Admission in reaching out future Pacific Tigers. In order to accomplish this, the PAAR Program has two primary goals.

Each Alumni Admissions Representative pledges to visit 5 high schools in their local area to drop off Admissions material at the counseling/college counseling office. By visiting high schools which otherwise would not be visited by Enrollment Counselors from the Office of Admission, Alumni Reps can greatly increase Pacific's name recognition in their local areas as well as providing up to date information that otherwise may not reach prospective students.

Secondly, every time a prospective student from their local area communicates with the Office of Admission (visits campus, applies, gets accepted, enrolls), the Alumni Rep will make a follow up contact (either via e-mail or phone) to answer any follow up questions that may have arisen and to provide valuable feed back to the Office of Admission.

In addition to these two primary goals, the PAAR Program (if the opportunity arises) can attend/host receptions or information session in their local area. While not expected of Alumni Reps, the face to face conversations with someone who is enthusiastic about their Pacific Experience at these types of events, can be invaluable in the decision making process of a prospective student.
