Pharm D. English as a Second Language
The Doctor of Pharmacy program requires English language proficiency beyond the advanced level prior to admission. If English is not your native language you may be required to submit an official score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Applicants who have lived in the U.S. for at least the past six years and who have or will have a U.S. Bachelor's Degree are usually exempt from the TOEFL requirement. Your file will be reviewed and you will be notified if the TOEFL is required. All others are advised to sign up for an early TOEFL test date since scores can take 4-6 weeks to arrive, and TOEFL scores are not exempted from any deadlines. Official TOEFL scores must be sent directly to PharmCAS. You should select the code 8246.
