More than 100 representatives from Universities across North America will be at University of the Pacific's Stockton campus for the Western Association of College Admission Counseling (WACAC) Fair. The event is free and open to the public. It is the only WACAC fair in the Stockton-Modesto-Merced region this year, and the first one in the area since 2007.
Approximately 100 to 200 college representatives from the United States and Canada are expected to be at the fair. There also will be a financial aid workshop, workshops on how to apply for private and state-run schools, and a Spanish-language general information session about the overall college application process. There also will be several workshops on how to apply for college, including one in Spanish.
Representatives will be at the fair to answer questions about their schools and to recruit students. This event is aimed at high school and junior-high school students.
