The Brubeck Institute was established by the University of the Pacific in 2000 to honor its distinguished alumni, Dave and Iola Brubeck. The Institute is comprised of five core programs which include the Brubeck Collection, Brubeck Festival, Outreach Program, Brubeck Fellowship Program, and the Summer Jazz Colony.

Brubeck Summer Jazz Colony goes international

High school jazz musicians from the United Kingdom and Australia will join American counterparts in the Sierra Nevada to hone their skills through rigorous musical instruction and perform two public concerts during the 2014 Brubeck Summer Jazz Colony

A Dave and Iola Brubeck contemporary has given University of the Pacific a $500,000 gift for an endowed scholarship.

Ralph L. Saroyan Receives 2014 APhA Gloria Niemeyer Francke Leadership Mentor Award

Saroyan was selected in recognition of his exceptional leadership and mentorship throughout his fifty-year career.
