Room Preferences
Each student will have the following in the room: a bed, dresser, desk and desk chair. The University owned furniture may not be removed or placed in storage. Students are responsible for and will be charged for missing or damaged furniture.
Double Occupancy Rooms
The majority of the rooms in residence halls are double occupancy rooms. The average size of a double room is 11 feet x 12 feet. Actual room sizes may vary slightly based upon the design of the building. (Consider bunking beds to create more space. Loft Contracts are available for students, please contact your Resident Assistant.)
Single Rooms
There are limited single occupancy rooms available in the Quads and Southwest. The single rooms are classified as large single or small single. All single rooms will be waitlisted. No single rooms will be assigned during the Online Housing Sign-Up process. In conjunction with the Services for Students with Disabilities office, a medical form and questionnaire will need to be completed by the student along with documentation supporting the request.
Triple Occupancy Rooms
There are limited triple rooms in the Quads, Southwest and Grace Covell. Because of increased freshmen enrollment, all triple spaces will have 3 students.
