Campus Shuttle Program
The University sponsors a shuttle program through Public Safety. This service is provided for students to make it easier and safer for students to travel across campus at night. This service is provided in coordination with the Campus STRIPE program.
The service runs every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. To request a ride or find out where the shuttle is on its route, students can text 209.600.7233 or 209.600.SAFE during shuttle operation hours. Along with the ride request, students will need to advise of their pick-up and drop-off locations.
The shuttle has established locations on campus to pick-up and drop-off students. Students can also flag down the van while it is on route between stops. The stops are at:
- Entrance to Town house parking lot.
- Monagan Hall parking lot
- Burns Tower/Pacific Circle
- Presidents & Atchley Way
- Atchley Way & Dave Brubeck (S/W)
- Stagg Circle
- Olsen Hall & S. Service Road
- Raymond Lodge
- A.G. Spanos Center (only during events)
The service starts at Monagan Hall and circles the campus in a clock-wise direction, stopping at each location on the way. It takes the van approximately 30 minutes to complete a circuit. The shuttle travels to all campus stops unless providing an off campus transport which may delay the 30 minute route time.
The shuttle provides off campus transport of students by text request to the following locations.
- St. Joseph's Hospital
- Dameron Hospital
- Downtown Theater (Regal 16)
- Weberstown Mall
- Sherwood Mall
- Lincoln Center
- Robinhood Plaza
- Stonecreek Village
- Miracle Mile (Pacific & Castle is the pick-up & drop-off point)
Public Safety believes it provides a safe and efficient campus shuttle program. However, the department is always open to suggestions for improvement and encourages contact with Enforcement Services Support at 209.946.3090.
