Campus Parking

Parking on all three campuses of the university is by permit only. Campus public safety officers enforce traffic and parking permit regulations on each campus and patrol campus parking on a regular basis. Each campus has somewhat different parking arrangements and policies.

Sacramento Campus

Sacramento Campus Public Safety

Parking in the Sacramento Campus parking lots is by permit only. Parking regulations are enforced 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays. All students, faculty and staff are required to display a university-issued parking permit on their vehicle when parked in a campus parking lot. Visitors are required to display a university issued visitor's permit on the dashboard of their car in plain view. Visitor's permits can be obtained from the Business Office from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays or from Sacramento Campus Public Safety anytime day or night. San Francisco Public Safety Officer

San Francisco Campus

The San Francisco campus is 7-story building located in the South of Market District of San Francisco. Use of public transportation is recommended, as street parking is very limited. If you chose to drive, please allow yourself plenty of time to find parking. Information on nearby garages and public transportation is available here. All automobile parking is allocated based on a selection in a lottery of full-time faculty and staff. Motorcycle parking is be allocated on a first come, first served basis to faculty, staff and incoming 2nd- and 3rd-year students. View the San Francisco Campus parking policy for more information.

Stockton Campus

Stockton Police carParking permits are sold at the beginning of each academic year to students, faculty and staff for parking on the Stockton Campus. Visitors to the Stockton Campus must display a visitor parking permit 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Visitor permits are available free at the Burns Tower Welcome Center in Stockton. Short-term (30-minute) visitor parking is available at various locations throughout the campus.
