Possible Sanctions

If you are found responsible for the violation(s), you may be subject to sanctions. A complete list of sanctions appears in Tiger Lore Student Handbook . Each case is judged on its own merits. Sanctions are based on case precedent but individual circumstances are considered.

The purpose of sanctions is to encourage the respondent to change their behavior and to reinforce the University’s standards for student conduct. If a respondent is found responsible for serious offenses, it is possible the sanctions may result in suspension or dismissal from the University, even on first offense.
