Counseling Services

Counseling Services at the University of the Pacific
provides specialized assistance to students who are encountering adjustment problems or who are experiencing emotional distress. Our therapists are trained to aid students in building self-confidence, making healthy choices, choosing assertive communication, relating to others, reducing stress, solving problems, and developing/solidifying identity. In addition, Counseling Services offers psychiatric medication management, crisis consultation, and outreach programming.

Welcome to the Counseling Services website!
Counseling Services, located in the Cowell Wellness Center, is a place where you can obtain assistance in moving toward greater satisfaction and fulfillment as a Pacific student. As specialists in working with undergraduate and graduate university students, the counseling center staff can help you address the issues of concern to you. We will do our best to ensure that your needs are met through individual or group counseling, workshops, or through referral to another resource. Please review the rest of the website to learn more about us and to determine if you might best be served by a visit to the counseling center.

Location
We are located in the Cowell Wellness Center (1041 Brookside Road), across the footbridge from the main campus.
Hours
Fall and Spring Semesters:
Monday - Friday: 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.
Summer Semester:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30a.m. to 4:00p.m.
Friday: 7:30a.m. to 1:00p.m.
Closed weekends, holidays and university seasonal days (please refer to the university schedule)
