When to Refer a Student
If you are concerned about a student in your class, friend or roommate, encourage them to call or stop by Counseling Services to make an appointment . It is an easy walk across the footbridge to Cowell Wellness Center on Brookside Road. If your friend is hesitant to come to Counseling Services alone, please feel free to accompany him or her to the initial meeting.
Throughout the year, Counseling Services receives many telephone calls from administrators, faculty, staff, student advisors, residence life staff and friends. They all have an opportunity to observe some of the signs and symptoms
