Why I love being a Student Advisor: As a transfer student, I was afraid of not fitting in to university life. However, I immediately felt welcomed and at home at Pacific during orientation, and I like being able to provide the same welcoming energy to incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Why I love being a Student Advisor: The joy of being an SA lies in being able to help out your advisees. My job is to facilitate their transition into their first year and in doing so, I help them grow and enhance their stay at Pacific. My favorite is when I get to look at my advisees after their first year and see how much they've grown, how many friends they've made, how many clubs they joined. It makes me so happy to know that I took part in helping my peers during this time.
