Placement Exam Information & Testing Deadlines

To ensure your proper and timely course placement, please complete all required placement testing by June 1, 2017. Do not delay making your math placement appointment, time slots fill up quickly.

Students should first check their insidePacific account, "Placement/Transfer Articulation Evaluation" tab to see if testing is necessary.

  1. Go to insidePacific
  2. Enter your PacificNet ID and Password
  3. Choose "Placement/Transfer"
  4. Click on "here" to view your personal placement information, transfer credits or test credit evaluations.

Math Placement Exams: Math placement exams are currently being offered on the Stockton Campus by appointment only. To schedule your math placement appointment, please call us at (209) 946-2458 or email placement@pacific.edu. Apppointments are available Monday-Friday at the following times: 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.. For additional questions regarding math placement exams, contact us at placement@pacific.edu. Remote testing sites for math placement may be available in your area. See below regarding SAT ACCUPLACER remote testing.

Chemistry and Foreign Language: The exams are available online via Canvas and can be taken from home.

Transfer students who do not have a completed transferable course or standardized test (SAT/ACT) score in writing should take the Pacific's writing diagnostic exam. Appointments for Math and Writing Placement Exams are Required

Stockton Campus Appointments for Writing Placement: Please email your name, Pacific student identification number, desired session date and time, and a contact phone number to placement@pacific.edu. You will then receive a confirmation email with your scheduled date, time and instructions. You may also call (209) 946-2458 to schedule your appointment.

SAT ACCUPLACER remote testing: If you would like to take your math placement exam at an SAT ACCUPLACER remote testing site in your area, email your name, student ID number and zip code to placement@pacific.edu . You will then receive an email with the nearest remote testing site to you and additional instructions on how to make your appointment.
