Welcome Parents & Families

Welcome Pacific Parents and Families!

It is with genuine enthusiasm that we welcome you to the Pacific Family. You and your student have made a wise investment in a high quality educational experience. Pacific is an outstanding blend of the advantages of the diverse programs of a major university and the broad, highly personalized learning of a selective liberal arts college. In addition, Pacific is also distinctive in its integration of liberal and professional education, its experiential learning guarantee, its four-year guarantee, its focus on leadership development and the co-curricular experience, and the attractiveness of its beautiful campus.

As a department, New Student and Family Programs puts a high emphasis on the relationship that both the new students and new familes have with Pacific. We hope that you all enjoy your time at Pacific. Some important information to understand when being the parent of a college student is the national law known as FERPA; to read more about it please click here. If you ever have any questions about the school, we are here to help and can direct you to the correct resource if needed.

The department helps host a variety of events including Orientation, Parent and Family Weekend at Homecoming, and Fam Fest. We also have a Parent Assocaiton Board that is composed of current Pacific parents, who can help answer questions about what it is like to have a student at Pacific. Additionally, we provide a monthly newsletter that helps connect Pacific parents with the events, news, and the inside scoop of what is happening monthly at Pacific.
