Freshman Student Orientation, Part I...Tiger Tracks!
Freshman Orientation is a two-day program, with sessions offered in June and August, designed to welcome you and your family to the Pacific community. Pacific Ambassadors and Student Advisors will be your guides throughout Orientation as faculty, staff and students introduce you to life at Pacific. This is a mandatory two-day event that will assist you in making the best academic and social choices for your college career at University of the Pacific.
Registration for Orientation sessions is on a first come, first served basis. Priority for the August session is given to out of state students, so California residents are highly encouraged to attend an Orientation session in June if their college/major is offered.
Dates of 2014 New Student Freshman Orientation are:
- Freshman & Family Session 1 - June 24 & 25 (COP [including Dentistry], Business, Pre-Pharmacy, Education, Engineering and Computer Science)
- Freshman & Family Session 2 - June 27 & 28 (COP [including Dentistry], Business, Pre-Pharmacy, Speech & Language Pathology
- Freshman & Family Session 3 - August 20 & 21 (COP [including Dentistry], Business, Pre-Pharmacy, Education, Engineering and Computer Science, SIS, Conservatory, Dental Hygiene, Speech & Language Pathology)

Students attending an Orientation session in June are required to stay in on-campus housing during their Orientation session. Students attending the August session will move into Fall semester housing on August 19th. Students who attend a June Orientation session will move into their Fall semester housing on August 21st.
*Please note: There are no refunds after May 1, 2014. In addition, there is a $25 fee to change Orientation sessions.
