Transfer Orientation. . . Tiger Tracks!
Transfer Orientation is August 17 & 18, 2015 and is designed to welcome you and your family to the Pacific community. Pacific Ambassadors and Student Advisors will serve as your hosts throughout your Orientation session. During Orientation you will have the opportunity to meet with university administrators and faculty and gain an understanding of life at Pacific. Your Faculty Advisor will also discuss your academic program with you and help you register for your classes. This is a mandatory event that will assist you in making the best academic and social choices for your college career at University of the Pacific.
At Orientation, you will
• receive academic advising
• register for classes
• learn about campus life from current Pacific students
• meet other transfer students
• explore ways to get involved in campus activities
• meet Pacific faculty, staff, and administrators
• get your questions answered about coming to campus!
Students that are required to complete course placement assessments must do so prior to orientation. These assessments ensure that you are placed in the appropriate courses to support your learning and assist you and your faculty advisor in planning your program of study. You can learn more about Pacific's course placement assessments and fundamental skills requirements - by visiting on campus testing resources or calling (209) 946-2269 or emailing email@example.com.

They are ready to assist you, answer all of your questions, tell you about classes, campus life and other exciting opportunities at Pacific.Orientation is designed with you and your families in mind. It is intended to answer all your questions and give you opportunities to make social and academic connections.
