Welcome Week

Welcome to University of the Pacific!

We are awaiting your arrival at Pacific.  Your first exciting adventure at Pacific after New Student Orientation will be the M.O.V.E. Program (Mountains, Ocean, Valley Experience) is a great opportunity to meet new people, explore the beautiful landscape of California and get connected with your local and surrounding communities. Every first year student will participate in a M.O.V.E. trip as a part of Welcome Week! On Thursday evening you will have the opportunity to meet your trip leader, as well as other students that will be on the same adventure! Friday and Saturday, August 23rd and 24th will be exciting days of stewardship, exploration, fun and new friends.

Visit the M.O.V.E. website at www.pacificmove.org to learn about the amazing adventures that are available. Once you decide on a trip that you find the most exciting you will register through insidePacific when you confirm your enrollment. All trips have limited space, so register early!

After you return from M.O.V.E. you'll participate in your first Tiger Nights event Saturday night, August 24th.  On Sunday you'll meet with your Student Advisor, attend New Student Convocation and enjoy the Welcome Back Barbeque with returning students, faculty & staff on Knoles Lawn.
