You may request a refund from your student account by means of a paper check or Direct Deposit. Paper checks are mailed via the postal service. Refunds issued by Direct Deposit are deposited directly to your bank account.
Authorizing Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit forms
are available in the Stockton campus offices of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resources and Student Accounts. Return the completed form to either Student Accounts or Payroll for verification and processing. The form can only be accepted for verification in person.
Refunds cannot be deposited into more than one account.
Direct Deposit to Payroll Accounts
Even if you already authorized Direct Deposit of work-study earnings you must complete a new form if you want a Direct Deposit of your Student Account refund.
If you are initiating Direct Deposit for the first time, you can use one form to authorize both payroll and student account refunds.
Changing Direct Deposit Information
If you change any information affecting Direct Deposit, including your name, bank account number or banking institution, you must complete a new form. While the information is being updated the University may issue you a paper check.
