College of the Pacific Diploma & Hooding Ceremony
1:00 P.M. at the Alex G. Spanos Center on May 12, 2018 
Graduates and Faculty assemble at 12:00 P.M. at the southeast entrance of the Alex G. Spanos Center.  

Please refrain from bringing any air horns, noise makers, balloons or whistles to any Commencement day ceremonies.


Speaker
The College of the Pacific diploma & hooding speaker is a graduating student. Our department chairs and faculty  recommend an undergraduate and graduate student speaker or a student may self-nominate. If you wish to be considered please contact your faculty advisor. Students will be invited to speak before a selected committee comprised of 3 COP faculty members. Finalists are chosen to return for a final speech from which the graduation speakers are chosen. You will receive an invitation to apply during Spring Semester through email. Awards Reception: 
College of the Pacific Annual Awards Ceremony- Friday, May 11th, Raymond Great Hall, 1pm.

Name Pronunciation Cards

If you feel your name is likely to be mispronounced when you are called up to the stage during your Diploma & Hooding ceremony, then it is imperative that you send the phonetical spelling of your name to College of the Pacific's Commencement Coordinator. For the deadline to submit name card please e-mail Sherry Haley, shaley@pacific.edu at your earliest convenience.
After Graduation
Once graduation is complete, there are still items that may need your attention, or that of the graduate.  Items in orange are links to additional information.

When does diploma arrive?
Diplomas are mailed to the address specified on the Application for Graduation, 3 to 4 months after the semester in which you graduate. If your address changes, it is your responsibility to inform the Office of the Registrar of this change. Returned diplomas will be kept on file five years and then destroyed. There is a fee for a replacement diploma borne by the graduate.
