Music and Speakers
The Conservatory's Diploma and Hooding Ceremony follows a longstanding traditional format.

Honor your Student
As the parent of a graduating senior, you have the opportunity to make May 9th even more special for your student: you can make a gift to the Conservatory of Music in their honor. By making this gift, your name will be listed with a brief personalized message to your graduate in the Conservatory's Diploma and Hooding Ceremony program - a special memento that will be cherished. All you need to do is send an email to MusicParents@pacific.edu for more information. Every gift helps to ensure that the Conservatory can continue to offer the programs that your student has had the opportunity to learn from and enjoy.

Mandatory Conservatory Diploma and Hooding Practice
All Conservatory students intending to walk in the Diploma and Hooding Ceremony must attend the practice which will be held in Faye Spanos Concert Hall the week prior to the ceremony.

Graduation Reception
We cordially invite all Conservatory graduates and their families and friends to a reception immediately following the Diploma and Hooding Ceremony on the lawn north of Faye Spanos Concert Hall.

As you can imagine, there are many tasks in preparation for graduation.  Here are a few important items for your consideration.

After Graduation
Once graduation is complete, there are still items that may need your attention, or that of the graduate.  Items in orange are links to additional information.

When does diploma arrive?
Diplomas are mailed to the address specified on the Application for Graduation, 3 to 4 months after the semester in which you graduate. If your address changes, it is your responsibility to inform the Office of the Registrar of this change. Returned diplomas will be kept on file five years and then destroyed. There is a fee for a replacement diploma borne by the graduate.

Stay in touch with classmates and alumni.
