Individual Tutoring
Individual Tutoring is one of the CCI's largest programs and offers tutoring to learners from 6 years of age, in almost any subject. Our one-on-one tutoring is provided by enthusiastic Pacific students who are passionate about their community.
This one-on-one tutoring experience costs $18.00 hour and is done in the center.
Scholarship opportunities may be granted to those who qualify based on the availbility of funds.
With one-on-one help, it is easy to see why our local Stockton students' grades improve. For those who have been in our program at least two months, their average grade improvement is 1.4 letter grades!
Requesting a Tutor
Tutor request forms are available 24 hours a day on our front porch, inside during our busiess hours or downloadable at this link [
Tutor Request Form]. It may take a couple of weeks to match you with a tutor. If you are looking for upper division math, science or foreign language, it may take a bit longer. Just give us a call and we would be more then happy to update you on the status of your request.
About our Tutors
All tutors are college students from the University of the Pacific. While they are not credentialed teachers, they are very knowledgeable in their tutoring subject areas, and have been carefully screened and trained. If your student needs tutoring in multiple subjects, you may be matched with more than one tutor.
