Tutoring FAQs
How much does tutoring cost?
We offer affordable one-on-one tutoring with Pacific students for $18.00 per hour. Pairs may meet for longer, but the minimum length of a single session is one hour. Contact the CCI front desk at 209-946-2444 to schedule a consultation regarding the potential for reduced fees based on demonstration of financial need.
When does tutoring happen?
Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-8:00pm
Friday: 9:00pm-5:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am-Noon
Sunday: Closed
When will I know if I have a tutor?
Center staff will call you once you have been matched with a tutor; it takes several weeks to match you with a knowledgeable tutor. Upper level subjects may require more time.
What happens after I get matched?
The tutor will contact you directly and together you will determine a good time to meet. The tutor will let us know when your appointment is so the information can be recorded.
Where does the tutoring happen?
All tutoring happens right here at the Center for Community Involvement!
Can I get tutoring every day?
It depends on the schedule of your tutor, but, yes, it is possible. Please note if you desire this on your request.
