Environmental wellness is leading a life that is respectful of our environment.  This includes respecting nature and ALL species. It also involves understanding the relationship between personal decisions and social consequences. Be aware of the limits of the earth's natural resources and enjoy, appreciate and spend time in the outdoors. Develop a reverence for the natural world and commit to protecting it for current and future generations.

At Pacific:

Tiger Escapes
 The Tiger Escapes program offers all Pacific community members a variety of both leisurely and adventurous day-trips capitalizing on Northern California's remarkable outdoor opportunities.  Escape off campus this fall with a variety of trips including an innertube float, day at the beach, corn maze visit, and a coastal hike. Education Abroad Program 
Here you will find information about studying, volunteering and interning abroad for a semester or a year. The program also host several info sessions throughout the semester to learn more about Pacific policies, applications, costs, and deadlines. 

Greek Life 
Founded upon the principles of friendship, community service, scholarship and leadership, Greek life provides students with an enriching and rewarding experience. any of our Greek organizations provide organized study sessions and incentives for academic success. In the area of community service, fraternities and sororities regularly volunteer time to various organizations in the Stockton community, and conduct fund raising for national charities.

Residence for Earth & Environmental Living & Learning (REELL)
The REELL residential learning community, located in McConchie Hall, brings together students who wish to focus on living a balanced lifestyle with the environment. Students who are part of the REELL community will be involved in opportunities centering in Geological and Environmental Sciences, including the issues of global environmental change, reducing carbon footprints, encouraging responsible oversight of natural resources, and promoting sustainable rural and urban environments. Activities include field trips, movies, campus and community outreach, exchanges with other college campuses, and service projects designed to "green" Pacific

Ted and Chris Robb Garden
The Robb Garden serves Pacific students, staff, faculty, and alumni. It's program centers around sustainable agriculture and encourages participation.

Farmers Market 
Farmers Market is held outside the UC, near the bookstore on Wednesdays from 11-1PM

Student Sustainability Coalition (SSC)
The Student Sustainability Coalition (SSC) provides the opportunity to unite organizations in various areas of the University to question, evaluate, organize, develop, and manage documented change whether through policy, programs, forums, or events which focus on the universities responsibility to sustainability.  This coalition also strengthens the support for sustainable practices at Pacific and allows for a community who shares similar goals and objectives to maintain clear communication and in pursuit of more sustainable practices at the University.

Students for Environmental Action (SEA)
Students for Environmental Action (SEA) is a group of students that want to make a difference on campus and within the community but also think globally by relating their actions to the bigger picture. SEA's purpose is to increase involvement, take action to improve sustainability, and to communicate environmental awareness. SEA participates in environmental cleanups and events, hiking trips, campus awareness and sustainability projects.

Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences
The Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences emphasizes a hands-on, field-oriented approach to the study of geology and environmental science. Coursework can lead to either a major in Environmental Studies or Science, or it can be part of a Minor in Environmental Studies.

Minor in Sustainability
The Minor in Sustainability began in Fall 2009, coordinated through the School of Engineering. To earn a minor, a student will complete 20 units of coursework selected from among courses in Engineering, International Studies, Geological and Environmental Sciences, Economics, Philosophy, and Business.

Fresh Edibles Community Farm
Fresh Edibles Farm delivers farm fresh "beyond organic" produce to shareholders once a week around the Central San Joaquin Valley. Large, medium and small-sized shares of produce are available for a trial basis as well as single and double 12-week blocks throughout the spring, summer and fall growing seasons.

Stockton Farmers Markets
Stockton has two year round farmers markets: Behind Weberstown Mall on Sundays and Downtown underneath the crosstown freeway on Saturdays. Other locations are open during the spring and summer seasons.

Delta's Innovation and Sustainability Committee
Delta's Innovation and Sustainability Committee is an ad hoc committee that was formed after President Raul Rodriguez signed the American College & University President's Climate Commitment on February 3, 2009. Green Team San Joaquin
The "Green Team San Joaquin", a program of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, is a collaborative effort between private businesses, municipal and county solid waste divisions, economic development professionals and the community of San Joaquin County.  The purpose is to enhance the delivery of Chamber services and to address economic, environmental, and quality of life issues in Stockton and San Joaquin County.
