Where are you located/How do I find the department?
The Technical Services Department is located in the basement of the library. From the library entrance take the stairwell to your left downstairs. Our department door is at the base of the stairwell.
What are your hours?
The Technical Services Department is open M-F 7:30-5:00pm.
What's the cost?
$20 per copy.
How do I pay for this?
We only accept cash, personal check or money orders.
How long does the process take?
4-6 weeks Shipments are sent to the bindery once a month.
Can I have someone else pick up my thesis/dissertation?
Yes. Make a note on the binding form of the name and daytime phone number of the person you have authorized to pick up your theses.
What do the bound theses look like?
They are bound according to Library Institute Standards at a professional book bindery. They are bound with a black buckram covering and your name and title are printed on the spine in gold lettering.
Can I have my personal copies of my thesis/dissertation shipped to my home or business?
Yes we can arrange to have them shipped to you. The charge is $3 per copy and they will be sent USPS book rate. Delivery is only available in the U.S.A.
I will be out of town for a few weeks (months), how long will you keep my thesis if I can't find someone else to pick them up?
Technical Services will hold your personal thesis for up to 6 months after they are returned from the bindery. If your thesis/dissertation is not picked up after 6 months, they will be sent to your academic department.
