April 2008 Clery Act Notice that was Issued Campus-Wide

Issued April 7, 2008:

There has been a report of a sexual assault during a Saturday night party held at the Townhouses on the Pacific campus.

The victim was female and described the suspects as:
Suspect #1: African American male, age 19-20, 6'3", thin build, shaved head wearing a white tank top
Suspect #2: African American male. age 19-20, 5'6, thin build with shaved head

It is currently not known whether the suspects are Pacific students. The victim is not currently a student. All three were attending a registered student party.

The victim did not immediately report the assault, but was transported to Dameron Hospital by a friend early Sunday morning. Stockton Police took the report there. The University and its department of Public Safety were notified late Sunday night. The victim reported the assaults took place after she had gone to talk alone with one of the suspects around midnight Sunday morning.

Neither suspect has been identified. A Stockton Police investigation is ongoing and University Public Safety is being updated regularly. Anyone with helpful information or who was in attendance at the party is asked to contact Mike Belcher, director of Public Safety, at 209-946-2537.

* Do not admit people you do not know into a campus party or your residence
* Report any crimes or suspicious persons or activity immediately, to the Department of Public Safety at 209-946-3034
