    In Early February the University Assessment Committee (UAC) hosted the Core Competency Forum in which faculty, students, and staff were invited to provide feedback to the UAC regarding Pacific’s definitions of the core competencies and the next steps Pacific should take in response to assessment data. more

    Cindy Ostberg Named 2017 Law Day Recipient

    On May 3, the San Joaquin County Bar Association awarded its 2017 Law Day Award to Dr. Cindy Ostberg, Professor of Political Science and Director of the Pacific Legal Scholars Program. The Law Day Award is presented annually to recognize individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the local legal community. Dr. Ostberg was honored for the Pacific Legal Scholars program, which she developed and has led since 2007. more

    2017 Faculty Retirement Reception Recap

    On April 26, members of the Pacific community gathered to celebrate retiring faculty members on their many years of teaching and service. This year’s annual Retirement Reception, hosted by the Office of the Provost and the Emeriti Society, honored six retiring faculty members. more

    Following the announcement of 2017-18 funding increases for NTT faculty compensation, as recommended by the Institutional Priorities Committee, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Maria Pallavicini will be increasing the minimum Non-Tenure Track (NTT) faculty compensation for fall 2017 appointments.  more
