2.1.7 Vice President for Finance

The Vice President for Finance is the Chief Financial Officer of the University.

He/she maintains adequate records and accounts of all University funds; directs the management of all funds; and provides the Board of Regents, the president, and other University officers with timely and accurate financial reports and analyses of the financial condition of the University to assist them in their policy formation and decision making functions.

He/she assists the president and provost in preparing the operating budget, makes recommendations to the president concerning goals and priorities in budget preparation and monitors budget performance and enforcement once the budget has been approved.
