8.1 Health and Major Medical Benefits

Faculty members who are scheduled to work at least 50% FTE per month and at least nine months per year are eligible along with their eligible dependents to participate in the Group Medical Insurance plans offered by the University. Eligibility commences on the first day of the month following commencement of employment or the first day of employment if that day is the first working day of the month.
