Spring SAC Professional Development Scholarships awarded this spring

Congratulations to the following staff members who have been awarded Staff Advisory Council professional development scholarships this spring semester:

  • Adriana Alicea, Sponsored Programs, Financial Reporting, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the NCURA Fundamentals of Sponsored Project Administration Workshop in February.
  • Tara Bunag, Center for Teaching and Learning, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the WSCUS Academic Resource Conference in San Francisco in April.
  • Patrice Coss, Human Resources, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the Ellucian Live conference in San Diego in April.
  • Lori DeMercurio, Business & Finance Administration, Stockton Campus, who is using the scholarship to attend the National Notary Association Conference in June.
  • David Devolve, Office of the Registrar, Stockton Campus, who the scholarship to attend the Ellucian Live conference in San Diego in April.
  • Kathy Gahn, Accounts Payable, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the Ellucian Live conference in San Diego in April.
  • Bailey Gutierrez, Career Resource Center, Stockton Campus, is using the scholarship to attend the NCDA 2018 Global Center Development Conference in Phoenix in June.
  • Michelle Faul, Office of the Registrar, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the AACRAO 104th Annual Meeting in Orlando in March.
  • Michael Interrante, Information Technology, San Francisco Campus, used the scholarship to attend the American Dental Education Association Conference in March.
  • Katrina Alison Jaggears, Benerd School of Education, Sacramento Campus, used the scholarship to attend the Conference on Adult Learner Enrollment Management in New Orleans in March.
  • Julia Juarez, Accounts Payable, Stockton Campus, is using the scholarship to complete the IOFM Accounts Payable Certification Program.
  • Margo Landy, Office of the Registrar, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the Ellucian Live conference in San Diego in April.
  • Ronda Marr, Procurement Services, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the National Association of Educational Procurement Conference in Orlando in April.
  • Dede Sanchez, Office of the Registrar, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the AACRAO 104the Annual Meeting in Orlando in March.
  • Michael Snyder, Office of the Registrar, Stockton Campus, used the scholarship to attend the Ellucian Live conference in San Diego in April.

Benefit-eligible exempt or non-exempt staff members can apply for a scholarship towards professional development that will equip or enhance skills directly related to the employee's current position that align with Pacific's mission and strategic plan, Pacific 2020R.  Find out more about the SAC Scholarship program, eligibility and application form on the SAC website
