Mahler at Pacific

Mahler at Pacific is an innovative program that pairs talented high school musicians with members of the University of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. High school students rehearse side-by-side with Conservatory students, over one weekend, and receive coachings from Conservatory faculty. The program is free and culminates with a free concert on January 20, 2019 at 2pm in Faye Spanos Concert Hall. Participants are selected by audition.

Mahler at Pacific attracted over 150 applicants last year.

The 2019 program will take place Saturday and Sunday, January 19 & 20, 2019 and we will be playing Mahler's extraordinary Sixth Symphony, the "Tragic."
