Curriculum

Overview

Program Purpose: To Prepare Creative, Innovative, and Caring Leaders to Develop New Enterprises to Positively Change and Impact the Educational and Social Sectors

The program is designed for those wanting a hands-on experience to build something that matters. We've also woven design and creativity principles throughout our curriculum.

Courses are focused around five action-oriented program goals:

  • Develop Core Knowledge of Educational & Social Sectors
  • Integrate Actionable Systems and Frameworks of Innovation
  • Build and Lead Networks of Change Agents
  • Launch Social and Educational Organizations and Projects
  • Lead in an Ethical and Socially Responsible Manner

You will meet each program goal through completing real-world projects in each course.

  • EDUC 204 Pluralism in American Education
  • EDUC 377 Design Thinking & Lean Startup for Social Impact

Year 2, Summer

  • EDUC 296 Integrative Capstone in Innovative Leadership

  1 course over 10 weeks
